100gig.net is run by a sole proprietor doing business as 100gig, in California. This page says what the site collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us. It's written for the business buyers who use the site. There is no consumer account, no login, and no advertising.
What we collect, and when
When you fill in a form. The quote form asks for your name, company, work email, phone (optional), the address or addresses you need service at, what you need, your current provider and price, your contract end date, and any notes. The renewal-reminder form asks for your email and contract end date, plus provider and price if you choose. We also record the page you came from, the checker inputs and result if you used it, the consent text you agreed to and its version, the date and time, and your IP address. The IP address is kept as part of the consent record and to block abuse.
When you visit. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time). Our own page counter records which page was viewed, the website that sent you, and the campaign tag if the link had one. It stores no IP address, sets no cookies, builds no profile, and doesn't follow you to other websites. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
We don't use advertising pixels, retargeting, or social-media trackers.
What we use it for
To answer your request, to get you a quote, to send the reminder you asked for, and to keep the site working. If you agreed to be contacted, we and Tel-One may email you and, if you gave a number, call you about your request. We don't add you to a newsletter, because there isn't one.
Who sees it
- Tel-One Network Services, Inc. (San Francisco; CPUC U-7327-C) handles quote and build requests. 100gig's operator is a partner in Tel-One. Tel-One gets what you put in the form.
- A partner carrier or agent, only if Tel-One can't serve your address and only after we tell you who they are. They may pay a referral commission. See How we get paid.
- Service providers that work for us: Brevo sends our email, Hostinger hosts the site and stores form submissions (servers in the USA), and Google Fonts serves the site's fonts. They process data on our instructions.
- Anyone the law requires, such as in response to a valid legal demand.
We don't sell or rent your information to lists or data brokers, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising.
Where it lives and how long
Form submissions are stored on our web host, outside the public web folder, and in the email account that receives them. We keep them for three years after your last contact with us, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept by our host for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email mason@100gig.net from the address you used. We'll answer within 30 days and confirm what we did.
- To stop calls, tell whoever calls, or email us. To stop email, use the unsubscribe link in any reminder or reply "stop". We honor requests within 10 business days, usually the same day.
- Do Not Track: the site doesn't track you across other sites, so there's nothing for a Do Not Track signal to change. We treat every visitor as if it were on.
Changes
If we change this page, we'll update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
